For the second consecutive year, Baxter’s Lakeside Grille, located on Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks, has been named to OpenTable’s 2019 list of the “Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America.”
Featuring restaurants coast-to-coast across 33 states, the popular reservation website’s list is a comprehensive look at the most romantic restaurants in the country, culled from more than 12 million verified diner reviews of over 28,000 restaurants in 50 states and Washington, D.C.
“Our sunset view of the Lake of the Ozarks provides a stunning backdrop for a romantic dinner, and we strive to provide a stellar dining experience to match the quality of the view,” said Ted Geiger of Baxter’s Lakeside Grille. “We are thrilled to again be named by OpenTable diners as one of the most romantic restaurants in the country.”
In addition to their regular menu items, Baxter’s will offer a special menu from Thursday, February 14 through Saturday, February 16. The Valentine’s menu will feature chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon from Benzinger Sonoma and a Chocolate Strawberry Martini. The chef’s cut feature will be a 14 oz. bone-in filet mignon with brandy mustard cream sauce and crab au gratin. The fresh catch feature will be a pan-seared Chilean sea bass in sundried tomato and olive relish. For dessert, diners will enjoy Ultimate Chocolate Cake with vanilla bean gelato.
