The Sportsmen’s Racing Team of Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s and TRACKER is prepping for the 2019 NASCAR season as excitement builds for the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway. This weekend’s kickoff exhibition race, the Advance Auto Parts Clash, will feature drivers Martin Truex Jr. and Austin Dillon as they proudly pilot racecars displaying the brands of North America’s premier outdoor and conservation company; raising awareness for significant conservation initiatives and the great outdoors.
TRACKER OFF ROAD makes its NASCAR debut
Martin Truex Jr., 2017 NASCAR Cup Series champion and 2018 runner-up, will debut the No. 19 Bass Pro Shops/TRACKER Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing during the Advance Auto Parts Clash on February 10. The new paint scheme prominently features TRACKER ATVs, a game-changing new line of all-terrain vehicles and side-by-sides offering breakthrough performance, service and value in the off-road industry.
TRACKER OFF ROAD was born out of a powerhouse partnership formed between Bass Pro Shops and TRACKER founder Johnny Morris and Textron Specialized Vehicles, bringing together the undisputed world leader in boating with a global leader in innovation and technology. Proudly manufactured in the United States, TRACKER OFF ROAD vehicles are now in production and expected to make their debut this spring.
Austin Dillon will also compete in the Clash, piloting the No. 3 for Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing (RCR) in a throwback paint scheme that pays homage to the company’s first lap in NASCAR as sponsor of Dale Earnhardt Sr. in 1997.
The Clash will be broadcast at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday, February 10 on FOX Sports 1.
The Great American Race
The Clash kicks off season-opening celebrations at Daytona, culminating with the Great American Race – the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 17. Truex’s No. 19 will compete alongside fellow Sportsmen’s Racing Team drivers Daniel Hemric and Jamie McMurray.
