Multi-GRAMMY® Award winning artist Steven Curtis Chapman has announced that next spring he will continue his successful tour, SCC SOLO: Hits, History, and Influences. Back by popular demand, the solo tour is now in its fourth season.

May 3-5 The Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals is a unique show for all makes, models, and years of cars, trucks and motorcycles. The show celebrated its 30th year in 2018 with phenomenal weather, 1,000 participants and close to 10,000 spectators. Located in Central Missouri, we bring 30 years of show experience to the historic Bagnell Dam Strip at the Lake of the Ozarks. The strip is closed to normal traffic during show hours, so we only have show vehicles within the boundaries. This creates and absolutely electric atmosphere! Some say it’s like being on the set of “American Graffiti”.

May 2 – 27 Bluegrass & BBQ Festival

What’s the recipe for the perfect all-American music & food festival? Take a heaping helping of the very best Bluegrass music this nation has to offer and mix in a hearty portion of smoky, mouthwatering barbecue flavor. Saturday, May 4th from 1-4 pm Here are some of the fun events taking place: 25 Goodie Bags from Don’t 4 Get About Me – The first 20 pet owners that register for one of the 3 contests will get a goodie bag! (One per dog family.) And the first 5 dogs that are adopted at Tri-Lakes Humane Society will get a goodie bag. (Tri-Lakes Humane Society will be at Branson Landing from 1-4 with their shelter dogs.)
Branson Landing stores and restaurants with outdoor patio space that allow dogs will have a Brown Paw hanging on their door or store window. So you can shop and eat with your fur-baby up and down the Branson Landing Promenade!

May 5 Cinco de Mayo Celebration at Jowler Creek Winery. Happy Cinco de Mayo! To celebrate, we’ll have our “Margarita Sangria” available all day by the glass and carafe in the tasting room. We’ll also a salsa and chip bar for you to set up to munch on alongside your wines. It’s free to attend and no reservations are required!

May 2 – 5 Gateway Performance and Machens Capital City Ford, The Annual Shelbyfest is coming back once again to Jefferson City MO. Their mustang family continues to grow and they look forward to another year of autocross, scenic cruises and lots of family fun. This is an “ALL MUSTANG RALLY” so everyone is invited to take part in the fun. Any year or breed of mustang is welcome. We also welcome all Fords to participate.
