REID’S HEAD COACHING SUCCESS: With today’s 23-16 victory, Head Coach Andy Reid now owns 204 regular season wins for his career. His 204 regular season wins are the sixth-most all-time by an NFL head coach. Reid tallied 130 wins while at the helm of the Philadelphia Eagles (1999-2012) and has won 74 games since his arrival in Kansas City in 2013. Reid now owns 216 regular and postseason victories (204 regular, 12 postseason), the sixth-most all-time wins by an NFL head coach in league history. Reid only trails New England’s Bill Belichick (302) for most wins by an active NFL head coach. With today’s win, Reid also tallied his 100th career road victory. The pair’s 474 wins at kickoff of today’s game trailed only Don Shula (251) and Tom Landry (245) who combined for 496 regular season wins when the Dolphins and Cowboys met on November 22, 1987.
CHIEFS SNAP NEW ENGLAND’S 21-GAME WIN STREAK AT HOME: With today’s win, Kansas City snapped a 21-game home winning streak (regular season and postseason) by the New England Patriots in Foxborough. Their last loss at Gillette Stadium came on Oct. 1, 2017 when the Carolina Panthers defeated the Patriots, 33-30.
KPASSAGNON BLOCKS FIELD GOAL: DE Tanoh Kpassagnon blocked Patriots K Nick Folk’s 41-yard field goal attempt, which was recovered by CB Charvarius Ward. Kpassagnon blocked Oakland’s extra point attempt in the previous week which was also recovered by Ward and returned for a defensive two-point conversion. This marks the Chiefs first blocked field goal since S Eric Murray blocked a 53-yard field goal attempt at Oakland on Oct. 19, 2017. Kpassagnon finished the game with two tackles (one solo), one quarterback hit and one blocked field goal on special teams.
HARDMAN LOGS LONG TOUCHDOWN RECEPTION: Rookie WR Mecole Hardman scored his sixth touchdown of the season on 48-yard pass from QB Patrick Mahomes. With six touchdowns during his rookie season, Hardman ties Fred Arbanas, Stephone Paige and Tyreek Hill for the most receiving touchdowns during a Chiefs player’s rookie season. Hardman’s 48-yard touchdown reception was his lone reception of the game.

Kelce owns four rushing attempts during his career for six yards and one touchdown.
