A Little Chick-fil-A History
Chick-fil-A’s story began in 1946, when S. Truett Cathy and his brother, Ben, opened a small restaurant called the Dwarf Grill in Hapeville, Georgia. Later renamed the Dwarf House, it became the birthplace of the original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich. In 1967, Truett opened the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Atlanta’s Greenbriar Mall—launching the restaurant brand that now welcomes Osage Beach into its story.
