The Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl champions once again. The Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 to win Super Bowl LVII. The Eagles began the game with an 11-play, 75-yard drive to strike first with a 7-0 lead.
The Chiefs have taken a 38-35 lead on the Eagles with a 27-yard field goal by Harrison Butker with eight seconds left in the game.
It is Chiefs coach Andy Reid’s second Super Bowl trophy. He is now one of 14 coaches to win more than one Super Bowl.
“What a beautiful trophy,” Chiefs chairman and CEO Clark Hunt said, admiring his family’s new piece of hardware during the post-game celebration. “We couldn’t have done it without one of the best coaches in the history of the National Football League, Andy Reid. And what an amazing performance today by Patrick Mahomes and his teammates.”
The Hunt family celebrates the Chiefs’ Super Bowl 2023 win. Congratulations to the Hunt family, The Kansas City Cheifs and the entire Chiefs Kingdom!
Final score: Chiefs 38, Eagles 35
