LOCASH TO HEADLINE COUNTRY DAY AT MOZARK FEST

Wheelhouse Records recording artist LOCASH will be headlining Mozark Fest at the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia, MO Saturday, September 21, 2024.  

LOCASH’s Preston Brust and Chris Lucas have put the band on the map with four number one singles,  a top five single, three gold singles and three major award nominations. LOCASH formed in 2008 under the name LOCASH Cowboys and shortened their name in 2015.  Their highest-charting single is “I Know Somebody”, which topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart in 2016. In addition to their own material, the members of LOCASH co-wrote Keith Urban’s number-one single “You Gonna Fly” and Tim McGraw‘s “Truck Yeah“.  LOCASH collaborated with Mike Love and Bruce Johnston on their 2021  release of  “Beach Boys.”  

In addition to LOCASH, festival goers on Saturday will be able to see Cooper Alan, Harper Grace, Presley Puig and Dale Blue.  

Friday, September 20 is headlined by Revisiting Creedence, a look back at Creedence Clearwater Revival, Molly Hatchet, Counts 77 featuring Danny “Count” Koker, star of the History Channel’s hit series Counting Cars, Kings of Queen, A Tribute to Queen and Seven Bridges, A Tribute to the Eagles.

Sunday, September 22 lineup headlined by 70’s and 80’s Rock Sensation Starship featuring lead singer Mickey Thomas. Also performing on Sunday are Glenn Hughes, formerly of Deep Purple and Black Sabbath, Head East, Christian Rockers Petra and Black Magic, a tribute to Santana.

In addition to the music, Mozark Fest is featuring a classic car show presented by the West Central Missouri Vintage Auto Club , a Midwest Volkswagen Car Show featuring Bugs to Microbusses celebrating the seventy-fifth anniversary of the VW Beetle.  The Traveling Vietnam Wall, which pays tribute to all of the men and women who lost their lives fighting for America in Vietnam, sponsored by the Hayden Freedom Foundation  There’s an arts and crafts show, a kid’s zone, sports bar with favored libations, a motorcycle poker run plus a wide variety of vendors and unique food trucks.
