Want to work at Lucas Oil Speedway? Job Fair scheduled for March 8th

Lucas Oil Speedway has scheduled its annual Job Fair for Saturday, March 8th at the speedway’s main office from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

A variety of open positions are available and include Campground Attendant, Track Safety Crew, Public Safety Officer, Diamond Bar, Cashier, Go-Kart Track Operator, Environmental Services Associate, Food and Beverage Associate and Gift Shop Cashier. “This is an opportunity for area residents to explore being a part of our team and we encourage those interested to come out and fill out an application,” Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said.

Those who are unable to attend the Job Fair can fill out an application online at lucasoilspeedway.com or stop by the speedway office from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on weekdays.

Open Test and Tune set for March 15th: Weekly racing in the Pitts Homes and Realty Weekly Racing Series at Lucas Oil Speedway will feature five divisions – Hermitage Lumber Late Models, Arctic Food Equipment USRA Modifieds, O’Reilly Auto Parts USRA Stock Cars, Clear Creek Golf Cars USRA B Mods and the new Hickamo Country Store Super Stocks.

The 2025 schedule is scheduled to fire up March 22nd with March Full Body Madness after Open Test & Tune on March 15th from 6-9 p.m. Spectator admission to the test and tune is free for grandstands with pit passes $35.

Off Road Test and Tune: Also on March 15th is a UTV S x S Open Test and Tune set for 11 a.m. on the speedway’s Off Road course. Admission to the grandstand is free with pit passes for that session $35.

The UTV Short Course racers have their first event set for March 21-22. Race classes will include 200 stock; ages 5-12; 200 limited: ages 5-12; 250 modified: ages 7-12; 700cc and under: ages 10-15; youth 1k: ages 13-17; sportsman na: ages 14 & up; sportsman turbo: ages 14 & up; women’s na: ages 13 & up; women’s fi: ages 13 & up; vet na: ages 40-and-up; vet fi: ages 40-and-up; pro-am na: ages 18-and-up; pro-am turbo: ages 18-and-up; pro na: ages 18-andup; pro turbo: ages 18-and-up.

$5 General Admission in 2025: General Admission tickets for all Weekly Racing Series events this season will be only $5 with ages 5-and-under admitted free.
