Hallmark Christmas Experience Brings Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story Red-Carpet Event to Kansas City

The most anticipated holiday movie of the year, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, premieres on Hallmark Channel November 30 at 8pm ET/7pm CT. As part of the first ever Hallmark Christmas Experience we’re happy to announce Hallmark Media will be hosting a special public red-carpet event before the private VIP premiere event.

“Kansas City is the perfect location for the premiere,” says Samantha DiPippo, senior vice president of programming at Hallmark Media. “It brings the incredible film full circle to unite the cast, special guests and the community once again in this red-carpet event.”

Next week, we welcome back to Kansas City the film’s cast including lead actors Tyler Hynes and Hunter King. As many remember, this past summer the movie was filmed entirely in our area at locations including the iconic GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

To mark the special occasion, we are hosting a free public red-carpet event on Saturday, November 30 at 4:30pm on Grand Blvd. at Crown Center Square where Hallmark and Chiefs fans alike are invited to come down in their Chiefs gear or favorite Christmas sweater to see this star-studded red-carpet moment. In addition to the film’s cast, there will be special guests from the Kansas City Chiefs including KC Wolf and the Chiefs Cheerleaders, and other Hallmark stars making their way down the red carpet.

Before and following the public red-carpet moment, attendees are welcomed to keep the holiday spirit going at the Hallmark Christmas Experience on Crown Center Square.  Shop the Holiday Hallmarket and grab the vintage-inspired KC Chiefs knit hat and scarf as seen in the movie, and ornament for everyone your holiday shopping list.  Experience free family activities include tree-lightings and light shows at 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm and 9:30pm, Festive Food Hall, Card Sending Station and so much more.  Don’t miss this first-ever immersive experience with all the cozy charm of a Hallmark movie town square.
